So get ready...its update time!
My mom started cycle seven of chemo last week. I, unfortunately was sick the first day, so my pops took her. The second day it poured rain and my mom wouldn't let me take her, so again, my pops took her. The third day, she called and said that I didn't need to come and get her, Nick would take her again.
At noon on the third day, my mom called me and said "Guess what I just did? I drove myself to chemo!" (let me remind you that she hasn't driven since July 24Th).
The next day, she drove herself to get her Nuelasta shot, Mervyn's for some clothes shopping, the Grocery Store and Trader Joe's.
Excuse me.
Apparently, my job here is done.
GO MOM!!!
