Ah...I am feeling less sick than earlier...thank you Hay-suess!
I just perusing the Internets and I found this little gem on my friend Maureen's website. It's pretty awesome. I especially like the end apart it being "pinned to the chest" so many different meanings, but the most obvious for me is that is the exact spot where my mom's Medi-port now rests...strong and proud.
Now go read it.
"........see how the flesh grows backacross a wound,
with a great vehemence,
more strong than the simple,
untested surface before.
There's a name for it on horses,
when it comes back darker and raised:
proud flesh,
as all flesh is proud of its wounds,
wears them as honors given out after battle,
small triumphs pinned to the chest- "

I like it. If you still don't feel good, stand on your head. It doesn't cure illness but its pretty damn funny to watch and you may just laugh the illness right outta ya.
Love ya buttercup..

We all have these scars or war wounds and usually we have a story behind them to remind us of where they came from. Life is so challenging its about getting up and reminding ourselves we have the courage to go on!
couldnt have said it better trista le! xo
