We really enjoyed ours! It was awesome!
So, here we are almost to Tuesday and my mom is still just truckin right along...being her typical busy body self. She said that she thinks shes ready to start driving again, she even mentioned that she almost went for a drive yesterday! wowzers!
For those of you who dont know, my mom has not driven since July 24th...thats a looong time. Her "vacation" from driving has been for two reasons...the first is because the mere thought of driving scares the shit out of her and secondly, the doctor told her that she couldn't...partly due to her brain swelling, but now that that's gone, she can literally be a free wheeling fool.
Well, when shes ready.
Good. Now she can start chauffeuring me around. haha
Anyway, this week is our "wait and see" week and its actually fairly quiet. The only appointments that we have are on Thursday for CBC/Chem Panel and on Friday for the "pre-chemo" visit. This is when Dr. Paroly will tell us how the CT Scan looked and whether or not she will need any more chemo.
So, for the rest of this week, please continue to be the pep squad, angel whisperers, healing vibes senders, positive thought provokers that you all have been throughout our crazy journey.
Keep your fingers crossed for clean scans and NO MORE CHEMO!
Just say no to chemo!
Here is a little gem of a photo that I thought you all would enjoy. It was taken during "Paparazzi Thanksgiving"
shhhh...dont tell her I put this on here...she might kill me!
hugs
